Decision Making

The highest governing body of UnYPhil-Women is the General Assembly. It is composed of all active and women youth from the different communities of Mindanao who are members in good standing. It meets once every two years.

The highest policy making body of UnYPhil-Women is the Board of Trustees. It is composed of members duly elected by the General Assembly. They are usually composed of women leaders from the communities. It sets organizational policy direction.

The elected officers of the Board of Trustees serve as the Executive Committee of UnYPhil-Women. It possesses oversight functions in ensuring that policy direction is observed and upheld by the Program Management Office

The Program Management Office is the workforce of UnYPhil-Women it is composed of paid full-time staff. It is responsible for program implementation and for providing technical assistance to program beneficiaries.

 

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO)

The PMO and its mechanisms ensure that programs and projects of UnYPhil-Women are in accordance to instituted vision and missions.

Ms. Noraida  C.  Abo, the Executive Director is in-charge of over-all program/project management and operations. She is mandated by the BOT to raise funds, establish partnership with local and international donor agencies.  She is authorized to sign documents/contracts for any project engagements with partner agencies whether local or international.

 The Program Officers: are responsible in conceptualizing programs and services for the institution. They are directly implementing project activities and are accountable for ensuring project deliverables are properly delivered as agreed in the work plan and timetable. They report and meet with the Program Director regularly providing status/progress while articulating issues and concerns related to the programs/projects.  They closely coordinate with local government units/agencies and community partners.

Administrative Staff:

Finance Officer: This staff is responsible for budget allocation from program funds and is responsible for financial transactions with the banks (deposits and withdrawals).

Cashier: This staff is in-charge of financial disbursements and liquidation requirements with all supporting documents.

Technical Assistant: This staff is responsible for providing clerical support to the administrative department.

UnYPhil-Women, Inc. also has a core of ten (10) volunteers to assist the program officers in ground operations, as well as provide basic support to the administrative staff.
